The quilts made in our summer quilting class are on display in the shop window.  Come by and see them in person; the picture doesn’t do them any justice.  Everyone did a wonderful job and I can’t wait to plan the next class!  

Quilting Class, Summer 2010.  

We cut, pieced, ironed, sewed, sandwiched, basted, bound (or is it binded?) and stitched.  Phew.  Everyone worked hard and made the most beautiful little quilts.  Thank you to Kim for teaching us and to Taana, Madeline, Anna, Errin and Ilinca for their creativity.  A few of the finished quilts are hanging in the window so come by and take a look!  

there are still a few spots left in the quilting class.  please don’t forget to get in touch with us before July 24th if you are interested in signing up.  in the meantime I’ll post some pictures of great quilts that other people have made.

The sample scarf has been cast off and we only have one beginning knitting class left!  Saturday will be the last chance to ask our expert your knitting questions.  Bring in your own yarn and projects or get advice on starting a new one.  Hope to see you tomorrow!  

The first knitting class is next Saturday and I wanted to remind you to get in touch with us to reserve your spot.  The fee is $10.00/class if you sign up for all four at the beginning or $12.00 to drop in.  I hope to hear from you!
